Charles Wild was an English watercolour artist who was known for his architectural subjects. He was born in London in 1781 and was apprenticed to Thomas Malton, a well-known watercolourist who specialized in architectural subjects, at a young age. Throughout his career, Wild focused on architectural subjects and became a specialist in this area. He began exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1803.

Some of Wild's notable artworks include "Interior of the Church of Saint Ouen, Rouen," which is held at The Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
