We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting Lowtide Honfleur is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

Guy Rose’s "Lowtide Honfleur" is a lyrical depiction of the quiet beauty of nature in repose. The scene, set at the low tide of a French coastal village, shimmers with the pastel hues and gentle light characteristic of the Impressionist style. Rose’s brushwork is soft and delicate, capturing the play of light over land and water as the tide recedes, revealing sandbanks and shallow pools. The palette is dominated by soft blues, lavenders, and pale yellows, which blend seamlessly into one another, creating an atmosphere of calm and serenity.

In the background, a row of trees stands quietly along the horizon. Their golden foliage, rendered with loose, almost pointillist strokes, catches the late afternoon sun, giving the landscape a sense of warmth and tranquility. The trees are not sharply defined, but rather suggested through color and light, typical of the Impressionist approach to capturing fleeting moments in nature.

Rose’s composition is beautifully balanced. The foreground leads the viewer’s eye into the depth of the scene, with the curving lines of the tide drawing attention to the reflective water and the distant trees. The soft, rhythmic shapes of the sand and the water’s edge give the painting a gentle flow, mirroring the natural rhythms of the tide itself.

What’s most striking about "Lowtide Honfleur" is its quietness. There is no drama or grandeur here, just a moment of stillness, where the beauty of nature is laid bare in its simplest form. Rose’s technique is masterful in its subtlety, allowing the viewer to feel the delicate balance between land and water, light and shadow. This is Impressionism at its most refined – a poetic celebration of nature’s quiet, ephemeral moments.
