High quality and detailing in every inch are time consuming. The reproduction of van Rijn Rembrandt also needs time to dry in order to be completely ready for shipping, as this is crucial to not be damaged during transportation.
Based on the size, level of detail and complexity we need 8-9 weeks to complete the process.

In case the delivery date needs to be extended in time, or we are overloaded with requests, there will be an email sent to you sharing the new timelines of production and delivery.

TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting The Man with the Golden Helmet is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

We offer free shipping as well as paid express transportation services.

After adding your artwork to the shopping cart, you will be able to check the delivery price using the Estimate Shipping and Tax tool.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

"The Man with the Golden Helmet," often attributed to Rembrandt—though that’s still up for debate. But let’s not fuss about signatures right now; let’s talk about the art itself, because that’s where things get interesting.

What hits you first is that helmet. It’s practically glowing, gilded and almost audacious in its weight. It demands attention. The feathers at the top, though delicate, almost seem like they’re mocking the metal below, all softness juxtaposed against the rigid, cold surface. Look at the detailing on the helmet, that delicate dance between highlights and shadows—Rembrandt (or whoever) makes gold look like molten sunlight caught in mid-solidification. You can feel the heft of it, how it must press down on the poor guy’s head, yet he’s utterly still, as if resigned to it.

And then, the face beneath the helmet—weathered, shadowed, heavy with years and perhaps regret. He isn’t looking at us; his gaze is downturned, introspective, as though the weight of the helmet mirrors the weight of his thoughts. The face is painted in muted tones, the pinks and grays of aging skin, blending so effortlessly into the surrounding darkness. And that’s the genius of the composition here: the helmet practically floats, detached from the dark void behind him, while the man’s face melts into it.

The palette is restrained, mostly darks, browns, and blacks, with just the flash of gold and the soft reds of the skin. The brushwork is masterful, tight and detailed where it needs to be - in the helmet - and looser, more suggestive, where it doesn’t. The man is almost swallowed by shadow, leaving us with just enough light to catch the essentials.
