We will add 1.6" (4 cm) additional blank canvas all over the painting for stretching.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

A scene from the New Testament is presented here: the visit of Christ to the home of the peasant Martha. While the latter walks alone in the kitchen, her sister Mary listens to the guest. The artist succinctly depicts the conversation between the three - the seated woman listening deeply, Christ teaching and persuading, and the perky housewife reproaching her sister for not helping her with the housework. A particular light illuminates the three figures. The outline of the kitchen glimmers in the artfully painted semi-darkness of the background, and a group of people can be seen through the doorway. The main figures form a composition in the shape of a regular pyramid. The lyrical charm of Tintoretto's art is perceptible in this scene of tranquility, which in fact depicts life in a Venetian home.
