We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:

Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting Adam and Eve is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

Titian - Adam and Eve

It is difficult to judge Titian's image of the Original Sin. Strange that this theme, which should have been congenial, is represented only by this single example in the artist's production. Nothing is known of the history of the picture, which has been in the chapel of the Alcazar, Madrid, for no one knows how long. It was damaged by fire in 1734 and subsequently underwent a heavy-handed restoration by the painter Juan de Miranda.

Critics for the most part agree that it was executed around 1560-70, but following an iconographic theme of the artist's youth, or even worked on a canvas laid out many years earlier. In fact the bodies are defined in a grandiose way. The figure of Eve especially is strikingly monumental and dominates the space with its luminous mass. There is a narrative suggestion in Adam's gesture, with which he tries to prevent his companion from accepting the forbidden fruit from Lilith. Adam's limbs, disposed with a calm rhythm, have a fullness whose weight is not diminished by the enveloping atmosphere. The sturdy tree trunk and lush foliage balance the massive figures of the protagonists. The most melting, atmospheric passage is in the fantastic mountain landscape, seen as if from some inaccessible summit - the mythical Eden where the temptation takes place.
