TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.
We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.
You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Museum Quality
The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.
Additional Information
Color remains a primary vehicle for emotional expression in this work. The meeting of rich yellow fields and a charged blue sky underscores the tension Van Gogh sought to convey. These contrasting hues imbue the scene with a psychological weight - the bright wheat below against the stormy atmosphere above. The complementary nature of blue and orange-yellows heightens each shade, magnifying both the sense of vitality in the fields and the unsettled quality of the sky. Red tints in the path deepen this dynamic, as they resonate against the patches of green grass, lending a curious warmth to the lower region of the painting.
Van Gogh’s brushwork, visible in vigorous, twisting strokes, adds another dimension of urgency. The wheat is built up with swift, horizontal marks, creating an impression of motion - almost as if the ears of grain are swaying in the wind. In the sky, the brushstrokes circle and swirl, conveying a restlessness that enhances the painting’s brooding character. This manner of application suggests a highly personal immediacy, marrying form and feeling through the thick layering of paint.
The composition is deceptively simple. The path that bisects the canvas guides the viewer’s gaze forward, but its abrupt halt, set against the looming presence of crows, raises questions about direction and finality. While popular belief often frames this painting as Van Gogh’s last, it is, in fact, one among several works from his final months. Even so, the artist’s intention to convey both “sadness” and something “healthy and fortifying about the countryside” is evident. The luminosity of the wheat, the natural vitality of the land, and the turbulence of the sky create a dialogue between despair and resilience, capturing a profound sense of both solitude and continuity.
Rendered in powerful colors and energetic brushstrokes, Wheat Field with Crows evokes a landscape at once unsettled and deeply alive. The painting’s tension between earth and sky, foreground and horizon, sorrow and endurance testifies to Van Gogh’s enduring fascination with nature - as both a mirror of human emotion and a source of quiet, sustaining strength.
