The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

Jan Davidsz de Heem’s "Still Life with Fruit and Lobster" is a rich and opulent display of abundance, meticulously crafted with an almost overwhelming attention to detail. At first glance, the composition draws you in with its vibrant, saturated colors - the scarlet red of the lobster contrasting sharply against the deep greens of the grapes and the warm golden tones of the peaches and apricots. Every element seems to gleam in the soft, controlled light, highlighting de Heem’s masterful ability to render texture and light.

The arrangement feels both natural and theatrical, with a cascade of fruits spilling across the table. The delicate tendrils of vines hang down, while the vibrant lobster perches at the center, almost like a royal presence. A nearby Chinese porcelain plate, laden with fruit, offers a subtle nod to the exotic luxuries of the time. The peeled lemon, with its spiraling skin, is a signature element in Dutch still lifes, its gleaming surface contrasting with the rougher textures of the lobster’s shell and the soft, velvety skin of the peaches.

De Heem’s painting is also alive with movement, in its own still way. Look closely, and you'll see tiny insects crawling between the fruits - flies, beetles, and snails all make an appearance. They lend a touch of realism, a reminder that even in such displays of opulence, decay is always just around the corner. It’s this delicate balance between life’s pleasures and its transience that makes the painting so powerful.

The composition’s subtle play of light and shadow, and its interplay of textures - rough, smooth, hard, soft - creates a sensory feast. De Heem is a master of creating not just a still life, but an entire world of sensations and meanings within a confined space. "Still Life with Fruit and Lobster" stands as an exquisite example of how a seemingly simple arrangement of objects can reflect the richness, complexity, and impermanence of life itself.
