High quality and detailing in every inch are time consuming. The reproduction of Claude Monet also needs time to dry in order to be completely ready for shipping, as this is crucial to not be damaged during transportation.
Based on the size, level of detail and complexity we need 8-9 weeks to complete the process.

In case the delivery date needs to be extended in time, or we are overloaded with requests, there will be an email sent to you sharing the new timelines of production and delivery.

TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Once the painting The Magpie is ready and dry, it will be shipped to your delivery address. The canvas will be rolled-up in a secure postal tube.

We offer free shipping as well as paid express transportation services.

After adding your artwork to the shopping cart, you will be able to check the delivery price using the Estimate Shipping and Tax tool.

Over 20 Years Experience
Only Museum Quality

The paintings we create are only of museum quality. Our academy graduated artists will never allow a compromise in the quality and detail of the ordered painting. TOPofART do not work, and will never allow ourselves to work with low quality studios from the Far East. We are based in Europe, and quality is our highest priority.

Claude Monet’s "The Magpie" (1869) is an ode to winter light - cold, soft, and blindingly pale, but filled with subtleties that make you linger. A vast snowy expanse, so much more than just a white field, greets you. Monet’s snow is not a flat, frozen surface but a mosaic of shadows and reflected light. The creamy whites melt into shades of blue and lavender, while the shadows stretch long, painted in violet hues that almost seem warmer than the snow itself.

There’s a hush to this landscape, a sense of isolation, broken only by the delicate magpie perched on a wooden gate - almost insignificant in scale, yet commanding your attention. It’s a tiny figure in an otherwise still and monumental scene, its black-and-white form a simple counterpoint to the intricacy of the winter palette.

What Monet does so brilliantly here is capture the winter sunlight’s play on snow. The sun is low, throwing long shadows from the gate and trees, creating texture out of coldness. It’s as though the landscape is alive, breathing beneath the frost, and this is where Monet begins to stretch beyond his predecessors. The soft, broken brushstrokes of the snowbanks blur the line between earth and sky, creating a sensation rather than a strict description.

The composition is strikingly simple yet rich in atmosphere. The diagonal lines of the fence lead your eye toward the middle distance, where a farmhouse nestles among the trees, their bare branches dusted in white. The painting pulls you in quietly, making you feel the cold and light in equal measure - a fleeting moment, captured in time. This is Impressionism before it was given a name, a study in how light transforms everything it touches.

First of all the painting is beautiful and it's worth every cent that has been invested. The local framing expert was impressed. So am I. I also appreciate that response time was very fast when questions have been asked. The production time was slightly longer than expected but I love the fact that postal shipping was made "express" without extra Read more about review stating Magpie by Monet: Beautiful; Service: Excellentcharge to meet the deadline for handover of the painting (it was a present).
