We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we cannot risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.
You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.

Painted in about 1650, it is among the works that still show Murillo close to Zurbaran and Ribera. In this domestic scene the emphasis is on its character as a playful interlude, without any sacred feeling. The composition intelligently adopts the counterpoised blocked-out masses of the Caravaggesque heritage, and the diagonal relationships, which are, however, attenuated in a composed but fluent dialogue of forms. In this work of his early maturity, Murillo also shows his qualities as an ingratiating designer of scenes keyed to a sentiment between the religious and the commonplace, in an atmosphere of softly indulgent devotion, which is well served by his pictorial skill.
