We create our paintings with museum quality and covering the highest academic standards.
Once we get your order, it will be entirely hand-painted with oil on canvas.
All the materials we use are the highest level, being totally artist graded painting materials and linen canvas.

We will add 1.6" (4cm) additional blank canvas all over the painting for stretching.

We not stretch and frame our oil paintings due to several reasons:
Painting reproduction is a high quality expensive product, which we can't risk to damage by sending it being stretched.
Also, there are postal restrictions, regarding the size of the shipment.
Additionally, due to the dimensions of the stretched canvas, the shipment price may exceed the price of the product itself.

You can stretch and frame your painting in your local frame-shop.
High quality and detailing in every inch are time consuming. The reproduction of Bartolome Esteban Murillo also needs time to dry in order to be completely ready for shipping, as this is crucial to not be damaged during transportation.
Based on the size, level of detail and complexity we need 8-9 weeks to complete the process.

In case the delivery date needs to be extended in time, or we are overloaded with requests, there will be an email sent to you sharing the new timelines of production and delivery.

TOPofART wants to remind you to keep patient, in order to get you the highest quality, being our mission to fulfill your expectations.

Murillo - Rebecca and Eleazar

Typical of Murillo's middle period is the taste for Ribera and the references to Reni. The Biblical scene takes place on a stage immediately presented to the spectator- and is developed in the arc of figures around the cylindrical well. The handling of the terra-cotta amphora emphasizes the divergence of directions, and the compositional bridge between Eleazar and the group of women is clear and simple. In the background to the left, in the road in the valley, a caravan waits in sunlight, a device frequent in Murillo. The colour, especially in the marginal areas, preserves the smoky contrasts of Ribera, but in the polite, somewhat idealized figures of the women, it is enlivened by pleasingly liquid as well as ringing notes. The high, sometimes conventional, professionalism typical of many of Murillo's works, is surpassed in this calm, intimate and luminous performance.

It is typical of the artist, in this as in other representations of sacred themes (the Mosaic and Christological scenes in La Caridad, Seville, 1670-74), to shift the main interest to genre aspects, refining and rendering affable representations of the contemporary world, especially the peasant's. There is a sentimental inflection which, declining from an intentionally realistic point of departure toward the crudely pictorial (as in The Beggars), would be appreciated by the pastoral Arcadians of the following century.
